Manager of a UX engineering team in the CxD (Collaboration Experiences Design) Studio. Team is composed of 4-6 UX engineers ranging from junior to principal level.
Focus of the team is to improve efficiency, usability, and clarity of foundational tools – specifically design systems supporting the OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams products. Additional focus on reducing or removing friction in the design-to-code process and increasing cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Implemented a documentation first approach to projects with great success and team satisfaction. Improved team collaboration, efficiency, and quality of work via this approach. Working on expanding this approach to more areas beyond the immediate team.
Help grow and support each individual team member in their career path through coaching, modeling, and the creation of a safe environment. As well as bring clarity through the definition or creation of projects, setting clear expectations and goals, as well as success metrics/acceptance criteria.

Product owner/voice of product for a motion framework project. Focused on systems guidance and ease of use from a product perspective. Similar role on other design system sub-projects to refactor, revise, or renew design patterns and associated components.
